For a customer, we are looking for a
IT INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT (M/W)
Responsabilites:
Works with other Architects and Systems Engineers to design and architect Windows & Linux Server platforms, PKI, Active Directory, Messaging, Network, WAN, LAN, PBX, VoIP, Storage and VMware Infrastructure solution based on business requirements and designs the automation for its delivery in a stable, secure, and efficient manner.
Design and implements process improvements as pertain to infrastructure in order to be more responsive and proactive to the business needs.
Participates in design, planning, process creation and documentation for infrastructure related systems in accordance with Pharma and regulatory compliance guidance.
Provides support to IT and business by gathering infrastructure requirements for technology solutions and prepare professional presentations to propose solutions to IT leadership.
Performs evaluation of OS, Storage, Servers, Virtualization, AD Components and other shared Infrastructure technology alternatives, their best practices, and their respective risks assessment/costs
Develops project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth; including alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or equipment installations.
Participates in and coordinates cross-technology discussions to determine long term strategy for infrastructure technologies and work with subject matter experts to design and implement solutions based on Industry standard platforms and regulatory compliances.
Develops Strategies and roadmaps for IT technology jointly with global enterprise architecture group.
Provides direction and advice to engineering and operations staff to perform maintenance activities to ensure a stable infrastructure.
Provides timely status updates to IT management
Establishes Global standards for IT infrastructure technology components.
Travel occasionally to other Celgene sites in other countries or to vendor headquarters for product presentations
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows Server OS.
Strong knowledge of highly available IT Infrastructure architecture.
WAN, LAN, VPN, PBX and VoIP good knowledge and understanding.
Servers and Blade Centers engineering design experience.
Strong/proven implementation and design knowledge IBM Storage (XIV, SVC), EMC (VNX, XtremIO) and SAN switching (Cisco MDS).
Demonstrated ability in staying abreast of technical developments in the industry and aligning them with strategic company objectives.
Able to adapt and to work in a fast paced environment and to be flexible to take on different tasks at short notice and have the ability to function in cross-functional team setup that consists of different disciplines.
Great documentation/design skills required. Ability to think conceptually
Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills
Familiarity with databases, web programming and scripting languages desired
Education/Experience:
A University degree (ETS/HES, Bachelor) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications or equivalent experience
Technical certifications such as MCSE, MCITP, Linux, VMware, Cisco, EMC, IBM or IT Security would be a strong plus
ITIL v3.0 foundation certification and ITIL experience would be a plus
Pharmaceutical background and understanding of the CFR Part 11 and Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory requirements and experience with processes and procedures to apply and administer these and other necessary regulatory requirements in an operational environment preferred
